A.
- lie (on a bed) to rest or sleep / say something which isn't true.
- match (n) a game between two teams / (n) a small piece of wood to light a cigarette or fire / (vb) to be the same colour or go with sth, e.g. These shoes match my jacket (They are both red).
- tap (n) the thing you turn on if you want water / (vb) touch somebody lightly, e.g. on the shoulder.
- blind (n) a thing made of wood or material to cover a window / (adj) unable to see.
- mind (n) the part of your body that can think and reason / (vb) feel annoyed / uncomfortable, e.g. Do you mind if I smoke?
- fit (adj) in good physical condition / (vb) be the right size, e.g. This coat doesn't fit me. It's too small.
- sink (n) where you wash the dishes / (vb) to go under water, e.g. A boat sinks if it has a hole in it.
