to kidnap = take a person / to hijack = take the control of a plane
a murder = killing an ordinary person / an assassination = killing a royal or political figure
bribery = giving money to sb to make him/her do sth / blackmail = getting sb to give you money to stop you from telling others about their secrets
a thief = is the general word for sb who steals / a burglar = is someone who steals things from your house / a robber = steals money from a bank, shop... / a shopliffter = steals goods from a shop
